Hi, i'm REINE

I’m a Lebanese creative working with sound across production, sound design, mixing and mastering, and live events. I’ve built my path through sound while moving between places and disciplines. My relationship with music started as a teenager learning guitar and later led me to study audio engineering in London. I’m always learning and letting different creative practices inform my work, and I’m drawn to collaborative projects and to creating sound that feels intentional, honest, and human.

Vincent J Headline Show

This was a headline live show for Vincent J, where I worked on live sound and handled the technical rider for the event. I also supported the show through event coordination and ticket promotion. In addition to the live setup, I mastered Vincent J’s songs for CD production, which were sold at the event. The opening act was Isadora (isadoramusic), followed by Vincent J as the main act, with several surprise guest appearances throughout the night. My role focused on ensuring smooth technical execution and a cohesive experience from preparation to performance.

Voices For Lebanon

Voices for Lebanon was a live fundraiser event in support of Lebanon. I worked on live sound, stage management, and the overall technical coordination of the event.I handled the technical rider, mixed the performances live, and coordinated closely with the artists to ensure smooth transitions on stage. The lineup included Vincent J, Aley Baracat, Jad Habchi, itoldlexi, and others. The event raised over £1,000, which was fully donated to support relief efforts and charitable causes in Lebanon.

Dance Party 4 SUDAN & CONGO

Dance Party 4 Sudan & Congo was a live charity music event organised by Sounds for Survival, held at The Orange Room, London. The night featured a reggae band performance by League of Rebelz alongside a lineup of six DJs. I worked as the live sound engineer for the event.I was responsible for front-of-house sound, microphone setup, live mixing, and managing smooth technical transitions between DJ sets and the live band. I coordinated closely with the artists to ensure consistent sound quality and seamless stage flow throughout the night. The event raised over £600, with all ticket sales donated to Focus Congo and Sudan Solidarity Collective, supporting humanitarian and solidarity efforts.

"STILL ODD" Launch party

Teezandos’ Still Odd mixtape launch party was held at The Orange Room, London. I worked as the live sound engineer for the event.I was responsible for the full sound setup, front-of-house mixing, and managing vocals and music playback throughout the night, ensuring clarity, balance, and a smooth live experience.

2026 spring sequence of new sounds

The Sino-British Concert Spring Sequence of New Sounds was a large-scale Chinese New Year celebration held at Central Hall Westminster, one of London’s major historic concert venues. The programme featured a wide range of performances, including opera singers, contemporary vocalists, live musicians playing traditional and modern instruments, and multiple dance pieces.I worked primarily as the live sound engineer for the event, managing front-of-house sound across the full programme. The variety of acts required careful vocal balancing, frequent changeovers, and precise audio control. I also supported microphone placement and assisted with stage coordination to ensure smooth transitions and consistent sound throughout the evening.

Mixing & Mastering

This snapshot reflects the reach of projects I’ve worked on as a mixing and mastering engineer. In 2025, the releases I contributed to placed me in the top 25% of streamed mixing and mastering engineers, with over 65,000 streams across credited work.My work spans rappers, pop artists, and singer-songwriters, and often involves close coordination with artists throughout the process, from preparation and communication to final delivery. Much of this work has been with SWANA artists, often across different languages, which has shaped how I collaborate clearly and support artists comfortably from start to finish. One of these releases was co-mastered in collaboration with Marwan Samy, whose work is ranked in the top 1% of mastering engineers.

Final Year Project — Sound Narrative

This project is a story told through sound, developed as my final year project at university. I recorded original sound effects using shotgun microphones, a handheld recorder, and a phone, alongside piano recordings captured at the university. All audio was edited and mixed by me.The piece explores the emotional and psychological struggles experienced by people from the SWANA region, with a particular focus on Lebanon, reflecting my own background. Rather than explaining these experiences through words or visuals, the project uses sound to evoke emotion and allow listeners to imagine and feel the weight of these stories for themselves. This work exists as a demo, with the intention of developing it further into a full immersive sound exhibition, which I hope to bring to life in 2027.

Audio Post-Production for Visual Media

I handled the full audio workflow for this project, including recording, editing, and processing in Logic Pro, followed by syncing and integration with video in Final Cut Pro. The focus was on achieving clean sound, precise timing, and a cohesive relationship between audio and visuals.

Adam audio ad redesign

This video was created for the ADAM Audio Soundtrack Design Competition 2025. I designed and produced the soundtrack from start to finish, recording original sound effects and combining them with selected elements from Splice. All audio was mixed and mastered by me, with a focus on clarity, impact, and cohesion between sound design and music.

Habib wa abir sound design

This was a short, light-hearted YouTube project created early in my career while I was based in Lebanon, working with The VGS. I was asked to record voice-overs, select sound effects, and design additional sounds to support the pacing and tone of the show. While the content itself was playful and informal, the project gave me hands-on experience with sound selection, voice recording, and shaping audio to match narrative timing. It reflects an early stage of my practice and my first experiences working collaboratively on video-based content.

kutla Game sound design

This was one of my first professional game-audio projects, developed while I was based in Lebanon. I was responsible for all sound design and in-game audio, from sound effects to music. While the game is no longer live, this video captures the original audio design and implementation, showing how sound was used to guide the player, reinforce actions, and support the game’s pacing and mood.
